Choreographer : Modeun Kim.

Artwork : The Bite Back Movement (Alexander Augustus / Seung youn Lee).

Photography : Chad Park (white backdrop) / The Bite Back Movement (black backdrop).

Modeun Kim’s contemporary dance performance discusses the journey we all face to the afterlife following death. He approached us to create objects which might be worn, moved and become part of the set design.

A boat. A door. A window. A coffin.

The Bite Back Movement created 6 sculptures which symbolised transitory experience. They comprised costume, set design, props and content. The artworks can be worn and also create elaborate shadow backdrops for particular scenes.
